Join the Deep View Discussion Group:

On February 21, 2000, I activated an e-mail discussion for users of Deep View.
As of January 2001, there are over 300 subscribers.

Purpose of the Discussion

Use this forum for sharing ideas, questions, and concerns about Deep View and its applications in research, teaching, and publishing. Participants include the programmers who bring you Deep View.

How To Subscribe

  • The discussion is a listserv with the list name "discuspv". To join and take part in the discussion, follow these instructions:
  • Subscribe to the discussion group by sending e-mail to LISTSERV@USM.MAINE.EDU
  • Include the following line as the entire body of your message: SUBSCRIBE discuspv
  • NOTE: There is a blank between the word SUBSCRIBE and the list name, "discuspv". There is no period at the end of the sentence.
  • By return e-mail, you will receive full instructions for sending messages to the list, controlling your receipt of messages, and cancelling or suspending your participation.

How To Cancel Your Subscription

  • Cancel your participation in the discussion group by sending e-mail to LISTSERV@USM.MAINE.EDU
  • Include the following line as the entire body of your message: UNSUBSCRIBE discuspv
  • NOTE: There is a blank between the word SUBSCRIBE and the list name, "discuspv". There is no period at the end of the sentence.

Some Discussion-Group Etiquette
