PostDoc position (1+2 years) to study evolution and the extremely diverse proteome of RNA viruses, including medically relevant viruses, is immediately available in Virus Evolution and Bioinformatics group of Alexander Gorbalenya (http://www.lumc.nl/2010/research/gorbalenya.html) at the Department of Medical Microbiology, Leiden University Medical Center, Leiden, the Netherlands.

Qualified candidate has acquired PhD (or an equivalent degree) in Bioinformatics or a related field with a proven publication record, has strong motivation for research, can demonstrate computing skills and the ability to work independently and in team.
